This system finds its first study and development application on a 24-metre monohull conceived by Binav’s expert hull builders specifically for HORUS, with aggressive but also slightly retro lines, highly performing and futuristic, effectively obtaining a considerable navigation autonomy of 8/10 hours at a cruising speed of about 10 knots with ZERO emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere, ZERO noise, ZERO vibrations, ZERO consumption and while you sail you recharge – hence the peculiarity of the patent-. A system designed to be installed on both existing and new boats, for displacement or semi-displacement hulls with no pre-set size limits, but also as a hybrid system on planing hulls with water jet propulsion but also on ships for the transport of loads, both liquid and bulk. With HORUS we therefore speak of COMPLETELY ECOLOGICAL propulsion for most of the boats or navigation units and with huge economic savings in terms of fuel consumption.
The Horus Project is based on the awareness that there are alternative solutions to the use of fossil fuels for sea navigation. Starting from this assumption, a system and a methodology for the drastic reduction of consumption and polluting emissions have been studied, designed and patented, thus reducing the environmental impact.
HORUS is a system conceived on ECOLOGICAL principles for applications on boats with a wider range of action. It is a patent that in the short term will revolutionize the concept of sailing, offering enormous practical advantages and absolute savings.
